Question Colour Trouble

Hi,

I need some help.
I have a Ele, with a red-white-bleu cape.
I made her top piece red like the colour of the cape.
Chest piece and gloves silver, kinda like the white in the cape.
Now here's the problem, i CAN'T get the boots in the colour bleu like the cape.
Im posting a pic for you to see why i cant get the colour.
Deu to the basic colour of the armor,(i think) the bleu changes colour when i put it on.
Even weirder, i got the red right the first time

Plz help me (i hate the colour of the boots now)

Thanks for the help

You are right about the base color of the armor being your problem. I would try mixing a Blue with purple then with blue. I always end up with a really dark blue this way.

It's not just that armor either. I've had (and seen others with) that same problem. My guess is that the default blue color is actually that pale, sky-blue rather than a rich dark blue like one would expect.

Aside from some kind of a purple-blue dye mix (which I've tried and hasn't yet worked for me), you might have to end up throwing black into the mix. Unfortunately, that gets very expensive to experiement with. I haven't worked up the nerve to start experimenting with my precious black dyes yet, so I can't tell you for certain if that would solve your problem.

Best of luck to you!
